Sorry my post submitted when I tabbed!
Now go to “Simple DNS Zone Editor” and here you have to set an A record for addon-example.com. So select the addon domain addon-example.com and where it says Add an A Record in the “Name:” field write *.addon-example.com and on the “Address” field put the master domain IP (you should find it in the left sidebar in CPanel.. for example: “Shared Ip Address: 127.0.0.20″ .). Click “Add A Record”.
I have a question even though I have never come across this last step, your instructions are crystal clear.

When I enter the A Record as “*.addon-example.com” the cPanel validates with the error “That is not a valid zone name.” and I cannot post.

I already have:
A localhost.addon-example.com 127.0.0.1
CNAME mail.addon-example.com addon-example.com
CNAME www.addon-example.com addon-example.com
CNAME ftpaddon-example.com addon-example.com

I hope you can help

I'm unable to login to my subdomain, it redirects me to the main domain! When I give the correct credentials at login, the page simply refreshes, with a changed url, with a redirect added to it!!
I'm stuck!!!

One more step to make your blog work off your domain.

- Log into your blog eg. addon-example.master-example.com
- Go to Tools -> Domain Mapping
- Add in the domain of your addon domain eg. addon-example.com

Then your website should load on your domain.
